Maxwell has spun a tale unlike any other!

Cannot pigeon hole this novel into a specific genre so I won't even try to label it. Very imaginative storyline, well developed characters, and a pace that leaves you breathless.
He delves into areas of human experience upon which many, if not most, would never contemplate. As an avid reader who devours one book after another, easily reading >100 books a year, that is saying something!
Hope it doesn't take him as long to produce the next book in this series, but I am sure it will be worth the wait.

One heck of a ride!

Whew! I just got finished with this thriller. I am exhausted! Such a great fast paced storyline, characters that I feel like I know, action at every turn.

Miles A. Maxwell is now at the top of my list in this genre!!

I read about 100 books a year, and I have seen quite a few stories of this genre that I think of as "apocalyptic, corrupt government, mysterious megalomaniac at the top of a conspiracy" more or less. I've read that story written by a lot of different authors, endured poor grammar, spelling, formatting, and totally inept storytelling, as well as a few authors who just did manage to entertain me.
I recognized the first book in this series for what I thought it was a few chapters in, and it sat in Kindle for a bunch of months.
As I was going through my collection, I decided to give the first book another chance. I'm really glad I did!
Mr. Maxwell pulled me right in with his well developed characters and engaging, imaginative plot. I was totally wrong about my initial characterization of this work. There is nothing better than reading a good storyteller. The mystery/adventure of this series now has three volumes of stories that I devoured in a couple of days.
I understand there will be a fourth book, so now the waiting, obsessively searching the Internet for clues as to when the next volume will be released, etc.
I won't put any spoilers in this review, so if you enjoy this kind of fiction, I think you will enjoy Mr. Maxwell's heartfelt story.
